Roseneath man speaks out over encounter with beleaguered Green MP
A Roseneath man has become to latest to come forward to tell of his experiences with Green MP Julie Ann Genter.
At a packed and hastily convened press conference atop the Oriental Bay band rotunda, Lee Ponderban d’Wagon said he’d never met Genter.
“Not once,” he said. “Our paths have never crossed. In fact, I wouldn’t know her from a bar of soap.”
Nevertheless, Mr Ponderban d’Wagon continued, he would be failing in his duty as a concerned citizen with unlimited broadband, to not contribute to the pouring on of scorn and opprobrium. “I’d get kicked off TikTok and Insta if I didn’t use at least one of the hashtags. How else are journalists going to find content?”
