Netflix commissions third series of “At Home With The Markles”

Following the enthusiastic response worldwide to the trailer for the no-flies-barred-on-our-warts-and-wall documentary-style reality series Megs and Hal Set The MP3s Straight, senior executive producers at Netflix have announced they’re already commissioning a third series of the show.

“We’re committing to an on-going relationship with the Markles’ and our subscribers’ money,” media relations head Annette Farr-deBigbux told WWNews in an exclusive text exchange. “Subscriber reaction has indicated there’s a need for quality programming so we’ll ignore that and turn out more of the same.”

There’ll be a few changes however, Ms Farr-deBigbux says. “We’ve moved away from the existing production company in an effort to produce a more credible and cost-effective product. The new team is sharpening their pencils as we speak.”

The new team has years of experience in mainstream television, Ms Farr-deBigbux adds. “The Hanna-Barbera brand has a cachet like no other and we feel it’s a perfect fit for what we’re wanting to achieve.”

“We’re taking the pressure off all our core cast, who frankly have better things to do, by animating their characters and getting professional voice artists to say their lines just as if they’d read them themselves. It’s a win-win.”

Production is expected to start early in the New Year, with an as-yet uncertain on-air date.
